Be the best you can be
For the treatment of all injuries and all ages.
The difference between what I do and other Osteopaths, Chiropractors or Physiotherapists is that while we both treat the affected tissue causing your symptoms I am able to detect and treat the root cause of your condition and predisposing neurological, muscular/joint weaknesses and nutritional deficiencies that are associated with your injury/ ill health or preventing or delaying your full recovery. These methods have been acquired through extensive post graduate training that have taken me around the world to learn from experts so that I can apply the best and most advanced assessment and treatments available.
With the use of Osteopathy, Applied Kinesiology, NeuroFunctional Medicine and Quantum Neurology we can assess and diagnose any injury. Your medical history and symptoms questionnaires are completed in advance of physical assessment. With a thorough Neurological exam, patented neurological tests, muscular-skeletal assessment and specific muscle tests we can identify specific areas of dysfunction that relate to your injury or may have led to your injury in the first place. Often nutrient deficiencies and dietary issues can also contribute to injury patterns. These deficiencies can be identified and dietary recommendations made available.
Consultations are for those that are seeking a personalised approach to recovery, rehabilitation, injury recovery, optimising fitness, help reaching their fitness goals or competition potential or for those looking to reduce pain, inflammation and restore flexibility. For the high performance athlete or sportsperson to the person that just wants to be able to move freely with less or no pain, improving identified areas of dysfunction can lead to improved mobility, strength, flexibility, endurance and overall sense of wellbeing. Identifying nutrient and dietary deficiencies may also reduce the risk of reinjury and speed up recovery rate as well as improve health.
Many people attend for treatment for complaints such as back pain which may have started doing a simple task such as lifting something or bending forward, one is generally able to do these tasks all the time without your back "going" so why did your back "go" this time? The same applies for runners who tear a hamstring or strain a ligament or joint, you might go out running everyday and never get injured so why this time? I can identify the root cause of why your back, muscle, ligament or joint "went" and what weakness predisposed you to this injury or any injury and create a personalised rehabilitation plan to help you recover.
You often hear of professional athletes re-injuring the same muscles, joint or ligaments over and over again this is because the underlying reason for the original injury was never addressed so while the localised muscle tear or joint strain may be better the root cause of the strain may have been overlooked. Unfortunately these root causes are often overlooked using more conventional methods. I offer patented assessment and rehabilitation methods that are only available at a handful of the best clinics around the world.
As areas of joint dysfunction, patterns of neurological deficit, muscular weaknesses, nutrient deficiencies and areas that require glandular support are identified at each consultation many people attend for the ongoing maintenance of wellbeing, function, flexibility and for those seeking to reduce the risk of further injury or illness. Many people appreciate ongoing wellness care and feel it adds to the quality of their life.
I have helped many people make a speedy recovery from injury even at times when conventional medicine didn't help. I have helped many people reach personal milestones whether thats becoming fit, winning races, championships, transitioning to becoming professional sports people or helping people walk/run again or even walk/run for the first time.
Many sports people that attend are amazed at how much better they can perform once their nervous system, nutrient uptake, muscular skeletal system, specific muscles and gait patterns are upregulated. For those people a 1% gain is the difference between winning and losing. On the other end of the spectrum for others being upregulated can require a 50% gain, imagine how much better that would feel!
